Hi, I am using Carlson 2015 on Autocad and generally produce 0.5m contour intervals, sometimes 0.25m.

If lets say Im doing 0.5m intervals is there a wah to have my polylines of 1m in one layer and 0.5m in a second layer. Basically splitting polylines ibto layers based on intervals.

And does someone maybe have some reading/video material to help with surfaces. I'm stuggling to get used to it and for some reason my PC is really running hard when I have Carlson open. And its a Dell Precision which handles poin clouds and processing well so Carlson should be easy.

Thanks for any help

Yes, the index and intermediate contours can be put on separate layers in your Surface settings. There are several good videos on the basics of surfaces in Carlson on Youtube and through the Carlson website. That Cad Girl has a few on there.
