I have a deed description that does not close 2' x2. I want to create a carlson closure that demonstrates that the raw data closure without forcing a closure or manipulation any suggestion. Most closure routines are designed to prove perfections and not show the raw data...suggestions welcomed

Can you do an inverse by area, and show that as your closure? It will show an error of closure, closing bearing, etc.

I don't follow your question.

A deed does not close, OK, but what does raw data have to do with It?

When you enter it through "Enter Deed Description" it gives you a raw closure when you hit end, doesn't it?

THANKS FOR THE HELP Next time I will consult with Paul in PA prior to posting. I was trying to distinguish between entering data directly from the deed and any manipulation that might be used , whence raw.....
There are quite a few features in Carlson that I rarely use.

If you are checking out a copy of the deed, run the "Enter Deed Description" function as suggested above. Then, to get down to the real nitty-gritty, run the Map Check routine under Survey.
