Is this thing for real on Win8?
Seems to cause interference after a while.

Thanks Wendell. Those directions appear to be for XP but got me on the right track. The main folder on Win8 for this instance was "Program File (x86)" and nothing was found in any of documents or users folders. After ridding of all that no browser would hook up to the net. I had to then go to connectivity settings and disable proxy server usage(s) and then all was well.
With fingers crossed, I hope it stays this way.
