Just got a Brother J6920DW. Google comes up with a bunch of suppliers for "compatible" ink; Brother says to use "Innobella" ink; big difference in price and availability. Any users with suggestions for best ink supplier?

I have tried the yoyo inks sold on Amazon and have had mixed results. All of the color cartridges worked well, but the black cartridges never worked. I have also tried some off brand ink from a local computer store, and they worked about 50% of the time. I would get an error staying I still needed to replace the ink. I have switched back to Brother brand ink and have had no issues. If you buy the super high yield cartridges, they seem to last quite a while when I compare them to my old HP and Canon printers. By the way, I love this printer. Someone else on beerleg.com recommended it, and it has been great.

I've had better results with the Brother ink, especially for photo quality prints.

Have been getting the XXL cartridges as they last much longer than the standard cartridge.

😉

We use C&G or whatever else the SuperMedia.com store is selling. 16 cartridges for 30 some bucks. 12 cartridges of Innobella is more than we paid for the printer!

I've had a mcf6490cw? Never bought an ink cartridge for about 4 years. Bought refillable cartridges on EBAY. Ocassionally a little messy but saved me tons of money. Looking at yours, I envy that XXL black cartridge. I might have to find something wrong with mine and upgrade.

I have a Brother MFC J6510 DW and use Linkyo ink from Super Media Store. They're less than $2 per cartridge.

If you demand printing perfection or counterfeiting, these aren't for you. If you just want to print air photos for recon and add color to some of your maps, give it a try. I've had loading issues once or twice....big deal, I'm out $2.

I just ordered an 8-pack for $13
