for me:
1) Carefully selecting a complex set of blocks and moving whole thing to a new location and when you click, the whole thing jumps instantaneously to the wrong location because you left the SNAP on.
2) Typing a long multiline text string and realizing THAT THE cAPS lOCK kEY WAS LEFT ON. bOY, THAT IRRITATES ME!
Opening Civil 3D daily is depressing because the computer it is installed on does not meet any minimum requirements for the program.
I know a crash is comiing and coming real soon.
Just wish I had MicroStation and In Roads again!
So much more stable and just a better programs.
Not Autocad, but a different CAD program: On an integrated circuit, finding about a hundred intricate paths from external connections to circuits deep in the heart of the integrated circuit. But forgetting to write down which external connection goes to which circuit. (I didn't do it; I got to fix it.)
AutoCAD version 13.1 was an epic fail. There biggest Doh!
Almost as big of a fail as that Alice game your avatar is from Mr. Chesire Cat... I bought an AMD Duron 800mhz box and my first program purchase was that game. I had to immediately upgrade the video card to get it to work... It was a good card, just not good enough.
CAD wise, I have an UN-Doh moment. I was trying to paste excel spreadsheets, then use cells in different viewports, but the spreadsheet would always show up outside of the viewport. Last night I tried to show my CAD lady and the new guy this issue and I don't know if it was the CAD update I installed last month or the upgrade to Office 2010 that made it work right, but WOO HOO, I can now setup my stuff.
#2 hAPPENS tO mE A lOT.
I also hate when I type...plop...or plor, or plof or ploy like 5 times in a row before I figure out what the heck is going on (P-L-O-T)
80 lot subdivision, all annotated and just needs lot areas to be ready for recording.
ACAD wont give areas.
CAD operator had used an open circle symbol to denote an iron set at each lot corner and mistakenly trimmed the lot lines to the edge of the symbol somehow. All the lot lines were annotated 1.2' short.
Long night fixing that one.
Here in PLSSia, seciton appears too often instead of section. I rarely use spellcheck as I am a purfecshunist and don't knead won.

You can edit your ACAD.PGP file and add:
Pe, *Pedit
Pl, *Pline
plop, *Plot
plor, *Plot
plof, *Plot
ploy, *Plot
Po, *Point

I've considered this approach in the past, but decided that I don't want to reinforce bad habits.
Biggest DoH moments.
That's easy. Surveying the tract next door, opening the old CAD file, drawing the new points, making all the new revisions, and never saving the old file as some other name so that I have an unmolested version.
Been there, done that, have the mental scars to prove it.

Have an easy fix for that, if used before the first save.
SaveAs new drawing name. Then original is total unrevised, including last date modified and record shows last date accessed.
