I really like my Logitech M-500 (corded model, ball-less). It has a scroll wheel with an option button for either click mode or flywheel mode. In flywheel mode, you give that wheel a flick and it will scroll for 5 minutes on its own. Pretty handy for long docs.

Second the Logitech mouse, however, mine is the M310. It's wireless and has the scroll wheel.

I was having some really bad wrist pain about 10 yrs ago, and I switched to the Vertical Mouse. Took a while to get used to, but I would never use a standard mouse again. It's a lot like holding a beer bottle.

The absolute best for me isn't a mouse at all. Microsoft Trackball Explorer. After I started using trackballs, I swore Never, ever will I go back to a regular mouse.

Unfortunately, Microsoft stopped making their trackball. Haven't found a good replacement yet.

Quite a few available on Amazon. Didn't see one with the + designation though (didn't look too hard either)

Logitech Trackman Vista for about 15 years. Like John, I will never go back to anything that is not a trackball.

I've got an old one I had with my Win98 machine that is wireless, and it's the bomb. I've used it for so long, it's wore the paint off the plastic in places. The keyboard is similar to that of an HP calculator in it's tactile sensation when touching keys. They are both logitech. My dad has a Sony thingy with all these bells and whistles that it routinely gave him problems. Best part, it' goes a long way (over 10 feet) from the receiver, so mouse and keyboard placement isn't an issue. I think it cost $30.
