I read the old thread on alternatives to Adobe. Several mentioned Nuance and said that the Pro versions were 3D capable. I looked at their website and didn't see anything about 3D. Does anybody have the Pro version?
Thanks
Have you tired Bullzip?

Alan,
I create my 3D PDF files from Microstation using the Microstation print driver. Here is a sample uploaded to this message. In Adobe you can spin the object by long press on the left mouse button, and pan.
You don't need Adobe Pro. I don't think the Pro would help either. Microstation can create GeoReferenced PDF's, and you can get a Free for your Smart phone to view the Geo_PDF's with GPS positioning.

I use Tetra4D as it is way better than Adobe's. They're a designated 3D provider for Adobe and with their's you can bring motion and assembly to the pdf as well as full color. Might want to give them a look as the people in prototyping use them. The are a little pricy though http://www.tetra4d.com/
Great to know. Thanks, Lee.
Lee, Adobe is officially phasing out their direct support for 3D and have passed that along to their designated providers. Here is an article http://www.solidsmack.com/cad-design-news/adobe-acrobat-x-3d-gets-axed-tetra4d-to-discuss/
