Licensed to Ill was the coolest record around when I was in 6th grade.
RIP MCA.

The Beasties were another lever. Cool to the max. I was in college at Marshall when "Fight for your right" came out. It was cheezy, but funny and cool at the same time. They only got better from there.
What a loss.
Circa '87, I could recite "Paul Revere" in it's entirety. I might still be able to if nobody's looking.

License to Ill was the first cassette tape I ever bought (along with Run DMC). You could call them hip hop, but really they created their own genre.
I was fortunate enough to see them live twice.
R.I.P. MCA

I really liked the first album, the punk stuff was really good.
What a loss. RIP!
Some of the oddest (yet cool) videos. Always enjoyed the music.
