From the time I left the house this morning at 6:30 till the time I pulled myself out of the woods at 2:15 I have drank 10 bottles of water and have not went #1 a single time. I am whipped and done for the day.
I should not have taken this job. I gave that woman my "I really don't want to do it price" and she still said do it. It was a really high price.
My son is driving west to Reno today, yesterday he started up the hill, encountered heavy snow, whimped out,?ÿturned around?ÿand went?ÿdown the interstate in the cold rain instead.
Today is in the 50's and?ÿrain at times, perfect weather really.?ÿ Might get into the mid 70's tomorrow then it's back into the 60's for at least the weekend.
Sometimes there are weather reasons to live here ??ÿ
My oldest son moved from Denver to Phoenix about three years ago.?ÿ One reason for the move was for warmer climate..which?ÿwas definitely achieved.
After a week of 105?ÿin Phoenix he decided to pack it up yesterday and visit friends in Denver for a week or so.?ÿ?ÿ He was excited to see the rain and enjoy the cooler temps.?ÿ He said for one hour?ÿin Denver he watched it rain more than he had seen in Phoenix for the?ÿlast year.

Suck it up; Buttercup...
It was hot in Puyallup today, too; hit right at 90f.
Not a big fan of the heat; supposed to be back to normal-70's, this weekend. THANK YOU!
After 14 days with highs above 90 here in west Ky., it cooled off to a pleasant 88 high today. ?ÿ

Do we already miss all that snow from April?
We tend to stay about 10 degrees cooler than Hell.

I have suffered enough & I have all the character I will every need.

I'm not a fan of the heat or humidity either but it comes with the territory.
Like last night, I went to an outdoor concert and sitting still I was sweating. Glad it didn't rain though and the show was GREAT, worth every bit of discomfort and comes with going to outdoor concerts. $0.02
Maybe put some salt in your water. You'll retain more water, and many of my body parts work better with some salt.

I like to cut Gatorade in half with water. This has been a hot summer already and it hasn't even started yet.
Coconut water and mango tea and pineapple tea and mixed fruit help replenish vitals that water can't.

That's what we do. It's only in the high 80's to low 90's now. Summer around here starts in mid July when it gets really hot and stays hot even at night.?ÿ ??ÿ

Forecast for Puyallup tomorrow: AWESOME!

I would hump around two 3L camel baks attached to my pack when I was doing magnetometer work in NV.?ÿ One filled with just ice, the other one stuffed with ice and filled with gatorade.?ÿ Record fluids day for me was the one where I consumed four of those camels baks(refilled on line turarounds/etc), and eight quarts of gatorade.?ÿ I was still dehydrated, and could scrape the salt off my skin and clothes at the end of the day.?ÿ Fluids.?ÿ Got to keep those bodily fluids protected.?ÿ ?ÿ ;)?ÿ ?ÿ ?ÿ
Few weeks ago made the annual move to 5gal well water in truck, 2gal well water on ATV,?ÿ 1gal jug of ice in chest on trailer with drinks and water in plastic bottles and some days topped off with bag of ice.
frogg togg towel and chilly bean hat , golf umbrella and large brim straw hat.

And get one of them big stoogies going; keep the bugs at bay...
i've been out from behind the desk for a month now, out in the field about 4 days out of 5 (not to mention either mowing the lawn, cutting down the big elm, or doing the oil change/tire rotation on the family ride the last few saturdays).?ÿ i stay well hydrated- lesson learned from years of distance running (one time i miscalculated on a trail run and, about 10 miles from camp i took a leak that was strangely reminiscent of a guiness stout.?ÿ scared the crap out of me).?ÿ which, i still do- about 40 miles a week.?ÿ?ÿ
stepped on the scale this morning and have lost 10 pounds in a month.?ÿ and i started off at 140.?ÿ hot and humid indeed.
and i STILL wouldn't trade it for that desk job.
