Sonic Drive-Ins have been using the two geekiest idiots in America in the TV commercials for far too long. My wife labels them with the vilest epithets imaginable. She loves Sonic, but, does not go nearly as often as she did for years because she is nauseated by those goofballs in the commercials.

If she ever pulled into a Sonic and saw those two in the car next to her, she would probably back over three fences and a half dozen dogs in her attempt to get away ASAP.

Do you know what I mean???????

Those old Burger King commercials with the King in the plastic head creeped me the f*ck out. I still won't eat at a BK today because of those things.

I'm with you on that Carl. Almost as bad as flying monkeys on the wizard of oz. I was scared of them for years until I saw the Burger King guy. Much creepier for sure.

How to deal with Commercials

My wife and I discovered this a few years ago and it's so friggin' easy:
Stop watching television.
There's nothing on there that's good for you.
Think about it.
It could have been so wonderful.
It isn't 🙁

How to deal with Commercials

There are a number of shows on tv which I happen to like. My way of avoiding commercials is to simply record the program on a dvr and fast forward through all of the extremely annoying adverts.......

Though watching tv on a computer is slightly annoying, one can avoid commercials that way as well. 😛

Not because of the people, but you could torture confessions out of people for crimes they didn't commit with the 877 cash now opera.

I don't think there is a Sonic within 20 hours drive.

Blow up your TV, eat a lot of peaches

No truer words ever spoken, no time like now.

I had a car like that once

Try Wilmington, MA near Boston.

I agree 100 percent with the scary plastic Burger King head guy. Those commercials were all very creepy.

Another creepy guy from many years back was the one who could talk like 1000 words per minute.

Sonic?

No "Sonics" around here since they left for OK City and became the Thunder. Nearest MacDonalds is 50 miles away. Sometimes I pass by it on my way to the seat of county government. Yep, this is God's Country. We do have a Canadian town a couple miles north of us, which has just the one Tim Horton's, so we are out in the boonies for sure. I like the pace around here. If I had broadcast TV, I would only get 2 channels. I'd still be doing that if I could get Boise State football without DirecTV.

Sonic?

Try Ferndale, Wenatchee and Spokane. One of those must be within a half-day drive, even if you are driving Perry's car.

Sonic?

When I left Wa 2 years ago, there were none until I hit Idaho. I have one 10 mins away now, in Ks. They are so much better than the other chains.
