Today marks the sixth year since I launched this website. Many of you came to know it as "BeerLeg", which was the original name I established for it. It didn't hurt that the domain name was available at the time as well. As of this month, our website merged with RPLS Today and it has a very bright future.

Wendell, we surveyors TEND to live in isolation.
We survey either solo, or with a crew.
We then sit at our computers, using cad, making decisions on:
Boundaries
Trucks
Deeds
Axes
Hammers
Software
GPS
Computers
Slim Jim's
Coffee
And the list goes on.
The fellowship from this site, has made me a better surveyor.
(And so has my Javad!)

Thanks for providing "Facebook for land surveyors" and many related professions. GIS
Engineers
Survey gear.
Flagging,
And, of course, the plat & rebar industry! (Ha ha)

Nate

I have learned more useful information on this site than I have at the last 2 years worth of continuing education. Shame we can't receive credit for it.

You can get credit for self-study in some states, as well as authoring articles. Write a good article for RPLS Today and we'll see about getting it published for you. 🙂
