Hi there!
I have an error message now that says "GPS time of week out of range" this message comes when I use convert to rinex program. The same file if I try to import it to TBC gives a different error but still an error of "File header could not be read"
Receiver is a Trimble R8 1st model (gps unit) firmware is the last one 2.31 (or 2.32 I forget)
When I have had problems like this in the past I would do a receiver reset and clear out old files and power ups and all would be fine. So I did that and the problem remains? I then noticed that Access (version 2017) was now making my files into T02 files when in the past because it was GPS (I thought) they where always T01 files or even .dat files when I used the import data utility. If I use the data import utility directly to the receiver (because I am also logging there when turned on) It is a T01 file and it works perfect in TBC or Convert to rinex utility. So the receiver looks to not be the problem. This has all worked perfect until the other day I bought a new TSC3 to replace my old TSC2 and my access version before was 2016 but the TSC3 came with 2017 installed. The only thing I am seeing is that when I go to my Survey styles RTK and RTK and logging it looks the same except under options there is a check box that says GNSS surveying, if I uncheck it then I have no styles to choose from. I use rtk and logging and run the r8 as a rover with a connection to cors stations for realtime. Sorry for the long post I just have been going crazy to get my data back to normal. Thanks in advance as always

I was getting the same error recently and it was due to the addition of the latest leap second. If you're still under the maintenance contract to update TBC you'll likely find (as I did) that updating to the most current TBC version will correct your problem.

You should definitely make sure you have the latest version you're eligible for (TBC) installed; the current version is 3.82. Also, making sure you have the most up to date Trimble Configuration Utility and Convert To RINEX versions installed should fix everything.

If the "GNSS Surveying" checkbox you're referring to is the one in Survey Styles > Options, those checkboxes are to give you the option to display only GNSS or TS survey styles. If you're like me, you might have as many as 5 or 6 GNSS survey styles and at least 2 TS; if I'm handing the data collector to someone to go out and do just TS work I can turn off the GNSS styles to simplify it for that individual.
