I have the username and password to get on the VRS. What I am having problems with is getting internet on my data collector.

I tried connecting to the hotspot on my Iphone 4s using wifi on the data collector with no luck. I think it was an issue of WEP versus WPA-PSK but I'm just guessing, I really have no clue.

I tried connecting to the Iphone 4s using bluetooth but didn't get very far with that either.

This is my first try at getting on a VRS.
Is is possible to do this with the equipment I have to work with or am I spinning my wheels?

Any help would be appreciated.
James

Set the security on TSC2 and Iphone to none.
We have to use these settings with TSC2 and MIFI.

I don't know if you can change the security on an iphone, we were never able to get a TSC2 to work with one. My recommendation is go get a MiFi and dumb it down to either WEP or None.

I don't see any way to turn off the security on the iphone either. The company phones are Cingular which I think now is AT&T. Swapping phones may be the best option without affecting the data plan.

Thanks for the advice.
