My DC screen looks to be going bad (still works, but it looks like layers of plastic are peeling off near some scratches), so it may be time for a new DC. I really like the Rangers, and I'd need RTK and Robotics. I'm writing some suppliers to see if they have anything used in inventory, only got one response and I thought the price was very high compared to ebay sales.
I thought I'd post this here for some input, and on the off chance someone had one they were looking to sell.

Thanks Snoop. I actually wrote Hayes yesterday to see if they have any Rangers with "Survey Pro MAX" installed (none listed there, just a Nomad), hopefully they'll get back with me today. I really like dealing with Hayes, so hopefully they have some DCs that are not listed.
replace that screen for much less that buying a new data collector. I think Hayes replaces those screens for around $750
I emailed Hayes about getting the screen replaced, too, but I'm not sure I want to go that route. The DC is really getting ugly, with cracks in the plastic casing and the letters on the keypad wearing off. It's probably close to 10 years old, and used every work day of those 10 years. Since the screen does still work, I'm thinking it's probably best I put this one on the shelf and just keep it around as an emergency back up. Plus, I would be nice to get a newer DC with the USB port and newer software.
