If anyone has a Blucap for a Trimble TSCe at a reasonable price, I'm interested in purchasing one. Please email me privately through the forum and let's make a deal. 🙂
Astro, Is this in support of your tectonic plate movement hobby?
Why not share your results here? I don't mean that in a confrontational way, your just the first non surveyor that I have seen posting here wanting to purchase survey grade equipment. I did some Internet research and found that you were interested in plate movement.
I apologize for intruding, but it is "out there", meaning publicly available. I personally would find it very interesting to read about your adventure discovering that your backyard benchmark moved so much over the years .
They appear on ebay from time to time, keep an eye out.
They are a discontinued product so make sure you find one that is proven to work. They seem to have issues sometimes where they will just fail and no longer support the bt data transfer.
As others have mentioned, They appear on ebay.
Would it be possible to use a Parani SD1000 to connect to your device via bluetooth? They are pretty reliable, and pretty reasonable in price.
I have been using two in the field as my radio link, and they are flawless. Hopefully they will work for your application.
Good luck!
There is one available now on Ebay.

I posted awhile back that I was looking for a BlueCap for a Trimble TSCe.
I did find one, but it didn't work well enough to be useful. It could find other Bluetooth devices and successfully pair with them, but could not establish and hold an actual DUN connection to my Android phone running BlueDUN. It was very frustrating, so I gave up on it.
What I've done instead is to wire up a little Vonets VAP11N Ethernet to WiFi bridge to the male DB26 on the TSCe. Instead of hanging things off a multi-connector dongle, I used a low profile female DB26 to connect things together more compactly.
Ethernet cable on the VAP11N wired to the back of the female DB26 as follows:
White wire to pin 16 (RX-),
Red wire to pin 17 (TX-),
Green wire to pin 25 (RX+),
Black wire to pin 26 (TX+).
Power cable on the VAP11N is wired to the back of the female DB26 as follows:
Black (-) wire to pin 23 (ground),
Red (+) wire to pin 24 (charge).
With this arrangement the TSCe can be powered either via the pass through power jack on the VAP11N or via the LEMO jack on the TSCe. The TSCe won't provide power to external devices until it is itself being powered externally. The VAP11N accepts a very wide voltage range and is perfectly happy with any voltage you might want to power the TSCe with.
Unfortunately the WEB server on the VAP11N does not like the ancient WEB browser on the TSCe, so it must be initially configured (one time) by connecting it to some other Ethernet device (such as a PC) with a more modern WEB browser. It can also later be remotely reconfigured from same via WIFI on the VAP11N's secure repeater network.
have pics???
i try to eliminate wire betwen trimble 4700 and tsce...
