Hello All,

Im new to the Forum so be gentle please 🙂 !

Im looking for a good company who will purchase my old total station or maybe part ex it for a better unit
A reconditioned station would be fine for my needs
Can anybody here recommend a good trusted and cheap supplier ?

Ps It would be ideal if they did calibrations for my laser and dumpy too

Thank you in advance
Sam

PS i'm in the UK but can ship my goods to a trusted company

Welcome, Sam.

I'm sure each deal is unique, but these folks have always been top-notch when it comes to service and pricing:

Hayes Instrument

They are very customer oriented and worth the time to talk. Good luck.

Many Thanks for the reply! I have sent them a quick email so i'm looking forward to their response.
Have you personally had any dealing with UK Companys ? i have contacted two today via email
One seems to be a Leica main dealer called surveying equipment and the other is called reconditioned total stations who deals in used equipment... they have a TCR805 that looks reasonable!
All help anybody can provide would be great ! i havnt had to buy for 6 years, the company i used seems to have vanished
I would prefer some uk input if possible from uk members too
Regards

Sorry, Don't have any info on firms over there. In my kneck of the woods our dealer's and survey shops are fairly Brand related so I would need to know what Make and model is your old total station and equipment needing repair. We have separate shops/dealers for Leica, Topcon, Trimble etc.

Its a Leica TCR407 Reflectorless i'm looking to upgrade, it does everything i need really but i fancy the better spec on the TCR805 Power
The units i have a need calibration work on are a Leica NA720 auto level and a Topcon RLh3c rotary laser level, i know i have a mix of brands making life a little more difficult,
The uk company i mentioned have said they can calibrate and repair anything leica but they will struggle if the topcon needs parts as they are tied down to leica, it only needs a calibration so maybe worth the risk sending there?
