Why are you selling?
I'm 81 and have enjoyed being a licensed surveyor helping people in my community for nearly 50 years, but I physically, just can't do the work anymore. I would like to sell my survey equipment.
Condition: Moderately used
Does it still work? Yes, it works great.
Price: Asking $25,000 or best offer
If interested, reply to this post, send seller a private message, call (541) 661-2047 or email [email protected]
Inexpensive AT G2 Topcon level
I wouldn't call it "inexpensive" -- I paid $900 for mine in 1993. It was a workhorse, back in the days when I still ran levels.
A lot of cool old dinosaurs in that collection.
Best of luck with the sale!
Thank you, Jim. I've appreciated your posts for many years and I'm sure many have profited from your efforts.

If you don’t sell it all at once. I would love to get a price on your steel tapes. Any old hand levels plumb bobs right angle prisms.
@olemanriver : email me your address at [email protected] and I'll send you what I've got. You can send me what you think it's worth.
(I too am almost 81 and quitting due to physical limitations.)

I will do you have to set the price though what I think it’s worth vs what it is truly worth are 2 different things I have a small to the out west folks 150 acres boundary 5500 straight back 2500 to the side although we have have only a few hundred feet of sight distance and several acute and obtuse angles along the way I see very early on what needs to be done to make this work I explained to the chief but he still has a bit of party chief syndrome lol he works his arse off works fast gets through swamps briars and everything else but now has to go back. 18 parcels make this all up oh I was the same way I wanted points per day linear feet per day and it took me a bit to understand quality over quantity oh if only there was away to physically show these guys who have never looked through the scope of a total station to see and understand parallax and strength of figure and even if it takes a bit longer that extra leg around the site makes all the difference yes extra cutting but you don’t have to return. You let me know what you want for whatever if I can swing it I will do it
