If you were going to buy a total station for land surveying and had 6000 to spend ,what would you buy new or used..

I'd try to find a good, clean used Leica that wasn't more than a couple years old. Sometimes you can catch a deal from a dealer selling off rental gear or equipment coming in off of a lease.

A few weeks ago somebody had three Sokkia Set 330R3 on here for sale and you could have bought two for that price.....

A new leica can be had in that price range, the ts06 was 6K+/-, and has 0% financing.

find yourself a leica robot, You can find them at great prices. Might spend a few bucks more but its money well spent!
