I am coming into the home stretch preparing for the Massachusetts state specific exam. I was wondering if anyone had any last minute pointers or suggestions of items I should review.

Thank you in advance.

Colonial Ordinances of 1641-1647 (the King grants fee interest to the littoral proprietor to where the tide doth not ebb further or 100 rods from ordinary high water with the exception of fishing, fowling and navigation), Land Court, Subdivision Control - oh I bet they will have one on the Palitz v. Tisbury Case where the SJC decimated the zoning of a lot divided by the 81-L exemption (exception or exemption, I cannot recall their term). The palitz case disturbs me because they do not address the Land Swap which is in the same sentence as the exception/exemption. Do you have a copy of Wilson's book of laws? A must have on your MA PLS shelf.

Have fun!

When I took it, 1998, ANR played a big part. Make sure to read, know, understand, tab, the ANR Handbook.

(If you don't know what ANR is, make sure you do).

Last I checked the Mass exam is closed book, is this true? All me prep thus far is geared in the no book in hand mode.

According to the website for testing service that MA uses, the State Jurisprudence Examination is a "2-hour open book examination". The Principles & Practice of Surveying, which I believe is the national exam, is a "6-hour closed book examination".
