Anybody have a good source for buying the BLM manual on the cheap? I would appreciate any ideas on how to get my hands on a copy. I have borrowed it until this point, but I have so much going on right now I am going to go ahead and get my own copy.

The 73 version is available free online as a pdf. You can purchase the 2009 version for about $75 at the online ACSM e-store.

BLM Manual> C. Tompkins

Say, C. Tompkins, Are you any relation to the Tompkins around the Albany area, or Franklin? Heard County? My grandfather is/was A. H. Tompkins from GA. He was a civil engineer/land surveyor with the State, from about 1920-1950's I believe.
Albert Humphrey Tompkins, or Kyle Tompkins is a cousin, my mother is Jane Massey Tompkins (maiden name)

Don
