This new site works fine on my desktop running Win 7 Pro, but on my tablet it's not working very well. Every time when I click on Recent Posts, the threads appear on screen until the page is loaded, then it disappears and all I see is blue sky and some dude wearing a yellow hardhat. I refresh, threads show momentarily, and then back to blue sky once the page is loaded again. My tablet is only a month old and is running 4.4 Kit Kat.

Is there anyway to get rid of that stupid tapatalk banner, other than to load it onto my phone and tablet?

Kent took advantage of the site being down to play a little switch-a-roo. He now goes by the name HappySurveyor, dyed his hair blonde and is from "San Diego."

The new site will take some getting used to, but getting a trophy because someone likes me has made it all worth it! I highly recommend the new site.

Fortunately, virtual shelves for virtual trophies don't take up much room...

the left hand corner of the banner has a narrow red stripe with an "X" in it to shut it down.

Maybe Kent's symptoms could be lessened by some OTC medication?

He's probably sittin' at home in his bathrobe...eatin' Chunky Monkey Ice Cream and Watchin' The View....:pinch:

Perhaps Kent is offended by being at the top of the Notable Members list.:-X:-D

Didn't it take Kent a while to migrate over to this site when it first opened?

Perhaps he is updating his Survey Noir with David K. O'Reilly and the Indian Casino survey ...

Actually Kent was one of the first proponents of Beerleg in July 2010. I just checked his profile- he signed up 6/30/10 first day.

Kent has 10 followers and he hasn't even logged in to the new format!!!! 😀

Kent is probably busy checking Chinese data on the movement of Mt. Everest,

What a pleasure to get a quick response and solution, as I was unable to login or reset password. The support team took care of it quickly. I was afraid I would have to call Doug Crawford for help.

A persona non grata suggested another site :-).

Where is the other site? I would like to try it out.

I rejected one of Kent's corners, because it was a full 0.05' too far north. I use RTK.
(Maybe this will get him going!)
