My opinion is that all the power plants converted from coal to oil due to emission standards and #2 diesel is nothing but the same heating oil used in the home.

My son paid $1.859 at a discount place yesterday and I saw one today at $1.899, but most of the big name brands are still holding between $2.05 and $2.20 (Houma, LA)

Overnight the price fell to 1.99/9 at the primary stations in the county. Drove into the next county south this morning to a station owned by the same company and found the price to be 2.09/9. Filled up when I stopped for lunch and paid 2.14/9 to a single store operator in a small town. Cash price. Credit card price is 10 cents per gallon higher.

$1.65 with supermarket reward card at Shell.
If I had purchased another $10 at WD it would have been $1.55

Merry Christmas Chuck!

could be worse....you could live in jersey

they "have to raise our gas tax.....there's just no other way"

even though all our other taxes are already the highest in the region

We also don't have 2nd amendment rights anymore (in all practicality)

Paid $1.76 yesterday morning at a moderately competitively priced Exxon/Mobil. $40 filled the tank.

Depends on what side of town you are on. I just paid $1.86 this morning after a 10-cent rewards discount on the south side of town. Two days ago on the east side of town it was around $2.20.

We bottomed out at 173.9 about two weeks ago. It leaped back to 189.9 four or five days ago, then fell off to 187.9 yesterday.

Lowest I've seen recently in my corner of FL is $1.89. They are all under $2 around here.
