Are there still places where virtually all businesses are shut down on Sunday per some State law?
I remember North Carolina in 1977 worked that way.

The original 7 acre townsite of Bethany, OK had no Sunday commerce written into their ordinances. It also prohibited working on Sunday, but I believe that was successfully challenged in the late '60s.
I haven't been there in thirty years so it may have changed...but I doubt it.
There will always be that one property owner who is Coo-coo for Coco-puffs, who will make stepping in doggy-doo, the highlight of your day.

They renamed the "Wienermobile" the "Frankmobile"!
