I would like to thank Wendell and Dave Souza for an excellent presentation to the Professional Land Surveyor's of Oregon, PLSO, Board of Directors meeting this afternoon.
Our current webmaster, Tyler Parsons, has done an outstanding job for the past 13 or so years but has decided it is time to give it up and spend more quality time with his wife. Wendell and Dave have shown us how they can offer us a continued first rate website plus put money into our scholarship fund at the same time. Any of you needing assitance with web page develpoment for your firm or survey society would do well to contact Wendell.

I really can't add much to what John says. Dave and Wendell (Wendell and Dave?) have an excellent program and Tyler has done a superlative job with the PLSO website.

I fully understand the desire he has to pass the proverbial baton or torch.

Scott

Thanks, fellas! 🙂

It's a pleasure to work with fellow surveyors and we truly want to give back to the profession. Surveying is a topic (lifestyle?) that I hold near to my heart and even if I'm not out there in the field shootin' stuff, I definitely want to remain involved in some way, shape or form.

Dave did most of the talking but, you have to admit, I'm pretty darn good at running the slideshow.

😉

Thanks guys! People like you have made it all worthwhile.

I'd like to extend my own appreciation to the many others in PLSO who have spent years contributing to the profession by representing their chapters, volunteering to lead PLSO, being Editor of The Oregon Surveyor, or chairing or being a volunteer on our various committees.

I liked Wendell and David's presentation on Saturday. Wendell did a major facelift to our web page a few years ago and I hope that he and David can use their skills to make it even better and more responsive to the needs of our organization.

Tyler
