We got an email request for a survey, much like some have related here.?ÿ
A vacant lot, wanted an estimate, then finally money sent to an architect cause the architect doesn't accept credit cards or something...??...
name Mark Leo.?ÿ
doesn't own the vacant lot.?ÿ
Needless to say we didn't bite but did spend some time back and forth emailing.?ÿ
When they ask what credit cards I take I tell them "Only gold bullion" or "Cash only, in unmarked bills wrapped in brown paper and tied with a string."
The next one I'm going to be asked to be paid in toilet paper. Two truckloads.
And then I report them as phishing.
Same here. I went back and forth with the person via several emails.?ÿ He wanted a boundary and topo of a vacant lot in a nearby city and he didn't mention credit card payment or sending money to the architect until after the price and scope were agreed upon. It was a waste of time.
I have had at least 2 of those same emails. Just say NO! STOP WASTING MY TIME
Several of us even got them at work and we work for the government. Yes, they got reported to IT security.
