I've written a blog post to help folks with identifying where email notifications are coming from and how to unsubscribe.

In the span of less than three minutes a total of 14 more arrived while I was out. They all mention SPAM or SP%M.
Yeah, one of the users retaliated by posting the same message several times. LOL

Some posts have been created about the spam and titled spam at their site.
So you are receiving a notification about those posts.
If you want to stop, log in and do what Wendell says or block the sender through your email server.
Someone posted HOW DO I STOP THESE ANNOYING EMAILS which generated more emails LOL.

Wondered why you went with the RPLS tag when RPLS.com was in use. Were you making a statement of sorts?
I hope the confusion doesn't become negative.
I finally managed to stop receiving these, or so it seems anyway. I haven't got one in my inbox for quite a while now. It took some doing to find the right place to get the correct link on the RPLS site though.
I would like be to change my settings over there but their stupid website won't accept the reset password their stupid website emailed to me.
27 notices since yesterday.

I'm having the same thing as you. Definitely a call tomorrow to BNP. This spam was the last straw.

Also the "RPLS" tag only applies to the US - here the equivalent is "RPSurv"
"Surveyor Connect" is more global
Although I personally prefer "Beerleg"
I just previewed a message and hit unsubscribe.
Problem solved.

Yes, the unsubscribe is working this morning.
It only yielded a 404 error all weekend.
I might wonder if the unsubscribe was overloaded with 5000 people within every 5 minutes trying to get rid of the spam....
I did nothing and the spam has stopped.

same here
Exact same result here as well.
Now if I could find a way to stop getting those calls from the ditzy broad who starts her robo-call with some version of the following: "I can't believe I finally got a hold of you. You're more difficult to reach than the last cookie at the bottom of the cookie jar." The most recent version was: " I can't believe I finally got a hold of you. Connecting with you is harder than getting my kids to clean their rooms." This is all pre-recorded. No matter how many times you say "NO!" to her questions you still cannot get across the idea that you are on a do not call list and her organization needs to forget you exist.

The editor over there posted that they disabled all of their notification emails. Then said that their IT person would try to fix whatever caused the eruption of emails from their forum.

For me it's "cardholder services" with the "last chance to lower your credit card rates." I wish it was the last.
So, when they turn notifications back on, you may start getting them again unless you turn them off for your account.
