Canada, not US based, but they ship to US and while I have only purchased once, it was a good experience.

Hot market, supply chain issues..... not a lot of stock on the used market right now. In a year things might be completely different -who knows.?ÿ

Believe it of not Ebay, there are some very good sellers, if it is priced too low go the other way. "munsoned" is a good seller that I have bought from.

I've reached the exact same conclusion. But there might be a build-up of used stuff happening as we speak. A lot of stuff appeared on ebay recently.

And for the more adventurous there's an ex pawn broker doing a sell-off 😉

Risk and warranty is definitely factored into the price.

There has been a decent increase in used gear as more new gear is finally being delivered to various dealers (at least in NA).

This will absolutely help on the supply side of used gear, although some industries will continue having delays. This is not necessarily exclusive to Trimble, Leica, or Topcon. They have all seen various bottlenecks in completing the components of a new system; be it electronic components...to data collector brackets.

If you have any questions, please let me know. I own the Munsoned ebay acct 😉

@k-huerth Thanks for the positive words.

My experience is Canadian, but we have purchased used units from Benchmark and Horizon Measurements with good success rates.

?ÿ

At the old firm I worked at, we often picked up floor (ie. demo) or rental units from our local Leica dealer.?ÿ?ÿ

@shelby-h-griggs-pls It's great that you can actually give us a little feedback from your experience.

I also saw the 720i website a while ago but I really needed a random person's feedback. They have decently priced items. I just have one small question: Do you guys have to pay any customs/tax/import fees when buying stuff from Canada and getting it shipped to the US or do you have some kind of Free trade agreement like there is inside the EU.

Not much to report, the transaction was smooth and the pole I bought better than I could hope for (a carbon fiber pole for about 20% of new, that was used very little).

They seemed very honest, wouldn't hesitate to buy there again.
