some jobs are probably better not being done solo, but whatever. getting it done, and no real rush on anyone's end.?ÿ has worked out well.?ÿ this is the aforementioned lakefront property of a classmate of one of our erstwhile forum members (or maybe a forum member in remission, who knows?).

somehow i've avoided the temptation of what lies at the bottom all week:

that should change tomorrow after i wrap the whole thing up (hopefully).

nice but worn out old place that is going to be razed and replaced, hence the need for topo:

thing about the site is this:?ÿ it's on a 17% slope from front to back.?ÿ as evidenced by this shot of the driveway:

makes for some sore hamstrings.

but that doesn't even account for the fact that the driveway is only twelve feet wide.?ÿ the other 190 or so look like this:

(i think i fat-penned the arrow over the flagging marking the TP up the hill.)

keeping in mind that it's been up around 100 all week, this week has been a rather... hearty welcome back to practice.

and i'm doing all this just to get at the other issue the client is itching to figure out: how to make an adverse claim on the ground under the water where his dock sits in that first pic. (he owns the tract next door from which the dock is accessed.)

Very beautiful. Thank you.

My recent pics are not as desirable as yours.

But, it was my office.

We doubt it would be much good for fishing. Shallow. Gets hot in summer.

A lot of people say that fishing's not all about catching something.

He might have better luck claiming a prescriptive easement. I saw a judgement for just such a situation some years ago that was recorded.

I know it's not but it looks like Hippie Hollow across the water in that first picture.

Nice photos!
