Snakes! Why does it have to be Snakes ?? ?????ÿ
not a mon case (we don't have many of those here), but i stepped on a cleanout with a broken lid last weekend, unleashed a whole mess of bees.?ÿ got tagged 5 or 6 times on the calf.
@jph?ÿ
Roger that. Even though the snakes we have around here, like those in Radar's photo, are harmless garter snakes.?ÿ
harmless garter snakes.?ÿ
Harmless?!? ?ÿThey are icky!
Icky!
@jph Bees and I have an understanding. Snakes? We've agreed to keep our distance.
harmless garter snakes.
Ask Connie about that; they bit her!
@dougie?ÿ
And for nothing, it seems. I don't see any monument in there.?ÿ I presume that other than a good scare that Connie is OK.?ÿ
Connie was wearing gloves and they were young snakes; but that doesn't mean that a snake snapping at you isn't a little unsettling.
It wasn't really a mon case, it was an 8" piece of PVC with a concrete lid. The mon was an X in a stone, 1.5' deep. They needed to get the snakes out so they could dust it off.
It was 0.06' off of my calc'd position. My survey will show it as exactly where it should be.
Wait...Wait just a @#$&(?)*! Minute.
We dip active sanitary sewers.?ÿ
thats icky.?ÿ
Carry on.
It was an X; but you're correct, it was oriented in a non cardinal way...
Happy Weds!
Best Wednesday Ever!
If this was 0.05 from the calc position that means all of your other points are off and this one is perfect.?ÿ Let's see you put that note on your plat 40 times.
When the next surveyor calls and says: Hey, you said it was perfect, but I missed it by 0.045678. I'm going to pat him (her) on the back and say: good for you...
I don't know why they were upset; Connie was doing them a favor by taking them out. I think they had gotten in there and couldn't get out...
When I lived "Just north of nowhere", we got the day off when it rained...
