In the Field:
- Collaborate with contractors, City inspectors, and the public.
- Utilize top-notch survey instruments and a modern 4WD survey vehicle.
In the Office:
- Engage with private surveyors, engineers, and various City departments.
- Access cutting-edge technology for analysis and planning.
Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead a dedicated field crew for impactful survey work.
- Enjoy a challenging yet enjoyable work environment.
Required Education and Experience:
- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent; and
- One (1) year of experience managing and leading a survey field crew; and
- Six (6) years of progressively responsible survey experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying/ Geomatics, Engineering, Geographic Information Systems or a specific area of study as deemed applicable may substitute for four (4) years of experience; or,
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as those listed above.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Land Surveyor’s license in the State of Oregon.
- Fundamentals of Land Surveying certificate (FLS).
- Proficient with Trimble surveying equipment and office software.
- Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Carlson CAD surveying software.
- Proficient with writing legal descriptions.
- Proficient with surveying field work including topographic surveying and construction layout.
Available Schedule:
- 8 hours daily, Monday - Friday
