Matanuska Telephone Association in Palmer, Alaska, a rural telephone co-op, is accepting resumes for a party chief/drafter position for next years survey/construction season, most likely to begin in March of 2015 and will likely extend through the end of the year. The successful applicant will either have completed a minimum of an Associates Degree in geomatics and/or have successfully completed the LSIT test. Individual will work with a licensed land surveyor in researching projects, executing field surveys using Trimble R8 GNSS GPS receivers and/or Trimble S6 robotic total station and drafting a wide variety of finished products. The position is with the I.B.E.W. union and offers excellent pay/benefits and limited travel.
