How's job market in FL or TX? Is it getting any better?
LSIT with 10-15 years of experience is seeking work opportunities. Took principles and state specific in NJ this past October.

I hear that DFW is pretty hot but the culture shock may be fatal.
Not sure I've ever seen DFW and culture in the same sentence without a modifier like "lack of" or "detriment to" 😉
According to my folks, building is booming in FL. That does not speak to number of new jobs though.
(Though retired, my folks do stay current and know people in the building industry)

I'm still pretty slow in North-Central Florida. Haven't really heard much hiring going on and when there is hiring it is mostly part time work.
Yes Texas job market is horrendous. I would not come here. We have a horrible problem with the unemployeds. If you are lucky enough to have a job, the state is going to tax the you know what out of your income. Texas is a nice place to visit, and if you do be sure to pack up about two dozen of your states natives and take them back with you before they become culturally impotent and totally unemployable.
And btw, I did hear somewhere that the union is hiring in Illinois. That must be the hotbed of work.
:good:

But, in all fairness and context, he did say "culture shock", and not just "culture" alone.
The Atlanta market is very busy and there are many firms advertising for qualified help.
