So how come the 2nd from left on the top level is missing. All other levels have 7 red rectangles.

That's exactly why they need asbuilts. The contractor apparently had a tough time reading the plans. They missed all the embeds on the first floor. Some are off by 10" in elevation.

Oof. I would guess that's gonna hurt a bit. I have nightmares about steel stakeouts gone wrong.

On the flip side, I am often surprised at the discrepancies found in structural plansets.

Just last week I spent half a day re-calculating a bridge span and checking all our cut sheets because the contractor was insisting that our grades were wrong. Turned out a single elevation tag in the planset was not snapped to the deck profile in the actual CAD drawings.
