There are 2 positions opening at the State of Alaska Southeast Region. The first was posted yesterday on the Workspace Alaska website for the Regional Right-of-Way Chief, licensure is not a requirement, but doesn't hurt to be able to obtain an Alaska license.
The second that has not been posted yet will be listed as an Engineering Assistant III in the Right-of-Way section. This position does ROW determination and mapping. The person currently in this position has given her notice for the end of the month. My position, which is the same, could become open should I decide to apply for and get the ROW chief position.
The third is a lower position the supports the EA III's, but for now that's all I can say about it, but the website can be monitored and I'll post if it comes open.
