I've been in South Dakota now for about 3 weeks. Today marks the 19th day on the job. I'm counting the days but in the manner of dreading the job, work or life up here. More in the manner of these are new adventures and I want to document the project as it changes over time. I take a photo every morning documenting the project (and the beautiful sunrises, tbh). I post the photos on my Instagram (IG for you youngin's) account if anyone wants to follow me.

Today is especially exciting because this afternoon my wife will be here. She has made the drive from Austin to South Dakota and she's bringing our dog! I'm so excited to see them both and to share this new adventure with them first hand.?ÿ
T. Nelson - SAM
I think I can see the Allegheny Mountains in the distance.
I think I see the sign for Drifters Bar & Grille
Lock both in the trunk for a few hours, then let them out and see which one still thinks you are a wonderful person worth spending time with.?ÿ I'm bettin' on the dog. ??? ??? ??? ??? ????ÿ
There is no E in Grill west of the Mississippi except in pretentious places that charge far too much for far too little food.
I'm counting the days but in the manner of dreading the job, work or life up here.
Should that be "... but not in the manner ..."?
Borrowed this tidbit from the link provided:
South Dakota snowplows now have names and a plow named Art is one of the most heartwarming.
Art DeKnikker worked for the SDDOT for 43 years and now has a snowplow named in his memory.
?ÿ
I'm thinking Art had a good name for being a mobster hitman with a shaky aim.
There's more to the story about naming snowplows if you are interested.?ÿ Check it out.
