Zoom 90: 500m Reflectorless vs 1000m

Aside from the blatantly obvious differences in reflectorless range, can someone tell me are there any other differences in performance between the two guns? Absolute reflectorless range is not that critical to me, but PRECISION and the ability to get the shot on poorly contrasting surfaces is. I've seen posts by people talking about narrow beams and wide and yada yada and never paid much attention until now.
