Happy days.
I bought a new work ute last week – a Ford Ranger.

Now we've added:
Tray liner (Speedliner)
Mine vehicle light bar
LED mini lightbar
White noise reverse buzzer
UHF
Survey box for tripods, etc
New radio with handsfree Bluetooth, iPhone compatibility, etc
Canvas seat covers
Floor mats
And all the other bits and pieces like fire extinguishers, toolkits, punture repair kit, first aid kit, etc
Damn accessories are going to cost more than the car!!!
And at last, I get to use it on its first survey task.
I hate setting up new cars. Always hurts to drill that first hole into the dash/bodywork.
Purdy...but it needs a couple of trips through the Old-growth Sagebrush to give it that "WORK Truck" look!

Nice looking truck. We need more pictures!!!
Is that some kind of crane practice area behind the fence?

Nice but I have a feeling the bed is too short for me. I like to carry a branch trimmer and digging bar among other stuff.
Tray is 1.52m long. Just long enough to stick a 1.55 pogo in it (minus prism).
Not sure how long a standard 14 lb. digging bar is. The branch trimmer is definitely longer.
That's a great looking truck. What engine have you got?
Sadly, it looks like the redesigned Ranger won't see the US market.
3 litre, common rail, turbo diesel.
sharp looking truck. a couple of weeks in the field and that new truck shine should be gone!
Looks very similar in size to the Explorer Sport Trac, double cab with about a 4' bed.
Yup, I do not think Ford has any plans in releasing a 4-door ranger in the U.S. Of coarse that new Eco-boost V-6 Gas would be nice.
But that truck is way to small for the amount of crap we carry in our work trucks.
What do you usually carry?
