I've tracked down some maps at the archives, but I need to pay a vendor for the copies. The archives sent me a list of several. Anyone on here have a preferred vendor they've used and will use again, and/or, one they've used and WON'T use again?

Thanks,

SS

Thanks,

The last time I needed some copies of valuation maps from NARA, I paid these folks to get them for me:

Do You Graphics
Fed. ID: 52-2056057
14827 Old Frederick Road
Woodbine, Maryland
21797-8615 USA
TOL: 800.418.8344
TEL: 410.442.1060

They did what they said they'd do and I have no complaints at all about what I got. Generally, email communication was responsive and thoughtful. I suspect that their backlog varies seasonally. Right about now, it should be minimal.

I've used "Do You Graphics" as well. They were recommended by Charlie Tucker. Gal there by the name of Cyndy retrieved the documents for me. Their email address is [email protected].

Are the val sheets delivered as hard copies, or as PDFs?

You can get them either way. As I recall, the cheapest and fastest is digital delivery.
