Can you have two bluetooth connections to the same DC, as in, can I have a GPS and Echo Sounder working together to do Hydro, both via blue tooth?
Another surveyor told me his DC can do this, but he has a CHC data collector (which he says has two bluetooth channels), I would be using a Nomad. I looked through the specs for both the CHC and Nomad, and I don't see anything related to dual bluetooth connections at the same time.
Bluetooth 2.0 and above is capable of multiple connections, but it all depends on the manufacturers implementation. So it all depends.
That's good to hear, I see both the Nomad the CHC device are BT 2.0, so I guess there is a good chance it will work.
I've used an Echo Sounder and GPS with a TSC2 with Survey Controller and a TSC 3 with Access, all Bluetooth.
