Anybody using this combo? If so, how does the radio attach, and how much more unwieldy does it make the rod? I can't find any pics showing one.

Getting hard to see those small TCU and TSC screens in my old age. But shoulders not looking forward to heavier rod either.

I had a Trimble tablet for a two week demo... Didn't use it with and S6 but with a R8.

The Trimble Rep showed carrying the rod by using the handles on the tablet instead of holding on to the rod like usual. We tried carrying the setup that way and by the rod as well. Neither way felt very comfortable and we never did figure out a good way to carry the thing that didn't feel awkward.

It's been two years since I did the demo...but if I remember correctly the large screen had a larger background but the numbers were no larger than on a TSC2 or TSC3. After the demo we were more than happy to go back to our TSC3's.

I couldn't figure out why you had this huge screen but with small numbers and no additional info being shown. I didn't have a chance to play with the settings to see if there was a way to increase the font size.

A few of us used it and the final opinion was that is did nothing better or different than a TSC3 and was a PITA to carry around.
