How much would I have to fork out for this equipment?
Or maybe somebody wants to get rid of it?
The SPS780 is a GPS only construction receiver that is basically the same as the old R8 GPS only from the Survey side of Trimble
Your TSC2 running Survey Controller or Trimble Access will let it work just like a survey receiver if your TSC2 has the Construction instruments code. For Access you can buy that option off your dealer. For Survey Controller you will need to get your dealer to get one off Trimble.
Once that code is in it works just like an R8 if the radio inside is a 450Mhz radio. Those construction receivers had a 900Mhz option and some of the Survey Controller radio options in Survey Styles didnt work properly
