I updated the TSC2 data collector running access today and now it displays the error message "This version of General Survey can not open a version 1.50.1 job. I backed up the .job files on my computer but cannot seem to get anything to load them. I only have AutoCAD 2011 and Eagle point software. Is there a way to fix this without them coming in as keyed in grid points? Or really any fix will work. Some jobs seem to have been converted but all the points are now Grid points and not WGS84 points. I hope that all made sense i'm a little stressed out at the moment.

Any help is greatly appreciated,
Denver

UPDATE:

I was able to transfer the job files into another data collector and export them as a jobXML to avoid near disaster. Saved about 22 Open Projects.

Mondays always get me.

did you not leave the jobs on the collector when you upgraded it?

If you did....they should have converted during the upgrade.

If not... Trimble has a cloud utility that converts jobs for you...I can post the link tomorrow from work.

Issue Fixed

I left them in the data collector but for some reason a bunch of jobs didnt convert but I was able to put the backups I made into another data collector and transfer them back as a jobXML. All the jobs now work thankfully. Still not exactly sure what happened. I would still be interested in that link as i have to update three more tomorrow hopefully they all convert.

Now to finally leave the office and relax

Thanks for the help,
Denver
