It has been a while since I have used the 5700's and I want to change the epoh rate to 5 seconds from the default 15 sec rate. I have it connected using GPS Configurator but under the Log Data tab the measurement interval rate is greyed out (not active). I am able to schedule a session and change all of the Survey parameters, but I cannot figure out how to change the defult rate.

That 15 second default is hard wired. No change is possible. You can change the collection rate from within the job. It's been a couple years since I've used that unit as well so I can't really guide you in detail.

Easy peasy -

Just follow the detailed instructions hyperlinked from this page, the next-to-bottom link.

Those instructions should also work for the Trimble R5 and R7 receivers, but I do not have access to either of those models for testing.

The described procedure also lets you set the elevation mask and other parameters of a postprocessing-data file started by pressing the Data button on the receiver. (No data collector needed at receiver.)
