After downloading my base station Trimble 5700 data to submit to OPUS, I failed to push the data card fully back into the slot on the 5700 for my next session. After discovering my error and reseating the data card in the 5700 the unit it will no longer download data during a session into the data card. Is this an easy fix or do I need to send it in for repair?
Remove the card and be sure there are no bent pins.
Put the card back in and if it still doesn't work I would hole the power button for 30 seconds. This will do a complete wipe of the card and all device settings though.
That didn't clear the card so I would guess the card isn't connected to the 5700. I t seems to fit a little tight, but I can't see any bent pins in the socket.
May be best to try an external card reader on your PC, verify contents and reformat there.
Did the 5700 go through the whole re-format light blink sequence?
Last option is to use the PC utility "configuration toolbox" to reset everything.
