Guys, where are you getting your power rod batteries replaced at? I see that 15 different companies offer the service. Is one better than the other?

Sure. It just has the ordinary 5/8"x11 threads at both ends. Only a couple of problems - the measure up scale on the side will be all but meaningless, and the rod won't retract all the way. 2 feet of battery will be sticking out. Your lowest possible rod ht will be about 7'.
