In a quick reading it didn't appear that he said chiggers cause the allergy, contrary to the thread title.?ÿ Did I get it wrong?

Any reference?ÿ to PETA makes this a rude intrusion into political divisiveness. I see no need to mention PETA other than to show one's disdain for what others may think.

Red meat is bad for you anyway. Red meat is high in saturated fats that will raise you blood cholesterol. High levels of LDL cholesterol increase you risk of heart disease.

Ask your doctor if you don't agree.

Thank you, and have?ÿ a nice day.

It was a joke son, a joke. The statement was NOT intended to cause disagreement or hostility between people.?ÿ ??ÿ

Reminds me of driving by a herd of horses, with stress in the herd. You sense the stress, Toot the horn, and they all run. Not because of fear, but, just for stress relief. Toot toot. Smile!

We have a good friend who cannot eat any beef or pork due to complications of a tick bite.

As far as PETA goes, I bet they swat mosquitoes, and poison ants in their homes - making them, as far as I'm concerned, hypocrites.

It is real. I have had this issue for about 7 years. Almost died one night from eating a hamburger. Hives from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. When your throat starts closing, you realize you really can get by without beef or pork. All I have to do is not eat red meat. A much better situation than Lyme Disease. (Yes I miss steak and ribs)

Tick bites?ÿaren't the only thing that can alter your habits for the rest of your life.?ÿ As a young man I was bitten by a female red-haired mattress thrashing bed bug (the deadly dancing variety).?ÿ I haven't been able to drink tequila since then...?ÿ
