So I have a few more from the first day to post first. Maybe some have not seen our Rocky the flying squirrels that we have in Okie. Gliders and such wonderful creatures. This at the science center.

And when mapping along the shoreline. This was not a self portrait and it has been here a long time it seems. Okay, it's close to looking like me. I'll give you that one.

So let's move on to the second day shall we. All set up for another OPUS session with a view of the Shawnee water tower. Not impressive to say, but it was in the picture.

And on this day I got there a bit early and was searching for the point This was not Phil's. Just some other survey graffiti by another company doing a ALTA survey on the coliseum.

Phil never leaves this much evidence. Just points and not a glowing mark on the ground that can be seen by satellites.

Got things settled in and wanted to warm up the hands a bit in the car before doing the gis portion of the work. How about that? WIFI in the parking lot.

A cup of joe, the iPad and a bit of surfing ESPN.

I warmed up a bit and did the curb lines and some parking stripes with the GIS unit. Pretty clean looking.

Nice unit. I started getting comfortable with it on the second day and created a field code library on the fly and added in the attributes. Kinda messy if your were zoomed out to much but very cool if zoomed in close. And especially cool when you downloaded them for the next step. Clients will love this. Survey plus data. That is where things are going now.

But of my two days with static and real time this was my favorite picture. Time in the sand. We are all just driftwood it seems.

It was good to be back in the fray.

Michael has been really busy at the city. I now have a dual freq unit coming to me so I'm back in the fray it seems. No pay but something important to me.

More to come as I strive to add in our monuments that are not in the NSRS database.I'm going to add as many as I can. Pictures on all.

Hey De-rail ...

I'm guessing that is one of Phil's units, and he has them named, if I remember from the old days on the ashtech/magellan/thales board.

Hey De-rail ...

I have no clue cousin Petty. I didn't think to ask him. He works for them so this is likely an in-house unit for testing and tech support. It could have been almost anything.
