I have a TDS Ranger 200T running SurveyPro 3.8.3. It has the robotics module registered, but not the RTK module.
It also has the Carlson SurvCE 1.67 with all the modules turned on.
Does anyone know what the newest version of SurveyPro that I can upgrade to with this unit for free? I thought that I had heard at one time the upgrades were free until the first number changed. Also, what version did the smart target options become a part of the program?
What would it cost to upgrade or register the RTK module?
I am interested in the possibility of upgrading. I need to mess around with the SurvCE and get familiar with it, but the guy that I team up with and I both are VERY familiar with the TDS software, and the ability for us to share job files is a must.
I was in a situation today where I was ready to fire up the rtk and start picking up some information where line of sight was an issue, but my Ranger 500x was getting low on batteries, and had ot call it a day (it was after dark anyway).

That's probably not a great idea.
I'm pretty sure the license codes changed between 3.8.3 and 4.0
If you do decide to try it, make sure you write down ALL your activation codes.

I have Survey Pro 4.0.3 on a TDS Recon Pocket PC. Can I upgrade to a higher 4.X.X version? If so, do I just need to know the Serial Number and Code (I only see one) that is currently displayed?
