Guy showed up with one wanting to sell it, in fair to good condition. Some chips in the paint, optics look clean. Has the bullett case and the big orange carry case.?ÿ

Probably get about 300 bucks for it on EBay; if you found the right buyer.

There are some fairly rare submodels of the T1. They range in value from $50 to a few grand depending on condition. Most will be in the 300 to 400 range (tops). I have a crisp model 70 that I won't let go for under 800, but i sold the mate to it for 200. Condition is critical...

Automatic vertical compensation.?ÿ The original T1 (and the NT1) used a bubble to plumb the vertical circle.

I always thought that the A was for an upright image, some of the others had an inverted image.

I believe that was the E (for erect) designation, e.g. T1A-E.
