Just returned from the annual technical seminar sponsored by our state society. Among the nationally recognized speakers were Curt Sumner and Larry Phipps. They were complimented by an excellent selection of speakers more locally known. All in all a great time.

Many thanks to those who put in the time and effort to make the seminar a success!

That's cool Dan.
Did you run into Taso or Cathy C., or Steve P. or anyone else I might know?
I haven't heard anything from any of those 3 for a couple years. Then again, Cathy I only know through Taso. Steve used to come by for a beer or 2 now and then but I haven't heard a word from him in several years. I know I didn't make him mad or anything. Anyone who knows Steve knows he'd just tell you - right up close and personal.
Cathy used to be heavily involved with SAMSOG so I imagine she was probably there.

I enjoyed myself. I really liked Larry P. A lot of food for thought. A good bit of common sense that apparently isn't so common. But this was my first rodeo and I came away with some good ideas.

I was not able to attend, but I do know that it takes a lot of time and work to put the Seminar together, and I also would like to thank the folks involved for all their hard work.

We missed you last night at the banquet. Jim did a nice job for the past couple of years. Am sure you will follow that with an outstanding job of your own.

Lonnie Sears won an RPLS Cookbook. Gotta love it.

Larry,
If I am lucky enough to be elected, and I certainly do not take that for granted, then I will have very big shoes to fill. Jim has done an outstanding job. I only hope that I can be half the leader he is.

Best regards,
Dale
